- There are no shipping and handling costs on any of our products except pillows, duvets , folding beds,fridges, microwaves (or any item which has high volume and weight) ; unless it is previously discussed, or your single order is above $5000.00. Outside GTA actual freight charges will apply and, you will be notified by e-mail of the additional costs involved before your order is executed. Once you have been notified of the additional costs and you approve them, we will then ship your order! In the event you place a custom or volume order the shipping charges are then listed on your quote as a separate charge and the free delivery does not apply to a custom quote. Any purchase orders received by fax, which does not specifically mentions the Freight but do in fact attract freight will be sent back to the purchaser with a request to include the shipping, handling & fuel surcharges as mentioned by us.
- Returns must be made within 7 days from the date of despatch. If for any reason it is longer than 7 days, returns will not be accepted! There is 25% restocking fees on orders under $1000.00 in value. Any orders over $1000.00 are charged at 35% restocking fee. NO exceptions! Any damaged or defective goods (manufacturing defect) will be replaced as soon as possible. Any custom, special, promotions and clearance orders are non returnable. Goods which are altered or cut from their original condition will not be returned at all. All claims with respect to he shortages in delivery must be claimed within 48 hours of the material delivery. A return authorization will be issued before any returns are taken back.
- Any credits issued will be made by the same method of original payment. All credits are also issued after authorization by management within 30 days of that authorization date. Unless otherwise posted, all notices will be in the form of email.
- Customer Service hours are from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday, Eastern Standard time. Emails will also be answered during those times.
- Methods of payment: We accept Visa ,M/Card, Bank Transfers, Wire Transfers, commercial cheques on OAC. and they can be made out to: CanAm Global Links Inc. & sent to 3483 Oakglade Cres., Mississauga, ON L5C 1X4 CANADA, payable in CAD or USD (as the case may be). The Credit Card mode of payment is applicable only within 7 days from date of Invoice.
- All orders usually arrive within one weeks if for any reason it will be longer you will be notified by e-mail or telephone.
- Purchase Orders – We accept techinically & commercially clear purchase orders with proper credit reference. Once; all terms are met the delivery is effected asap. Delays if any, due to any unforeseen circumstances, are normally notified to the customer in advance in writing. A $25.00 charge applies on purchase orders of value less than $250.00 to cover administration charges.
- Freight is extra for most of the, out of province clients. There can be an exemption especially if the order is more than $10,000.00 (to cover the cost of the freight) to clients who are within 25 kms off the Trans Canada highway.
- When the client is more than 50 Km from our office / warehouse diameter but within the province still freight cost is applicable, and can possibly be asked from the customer service. For orders above $1000 in the nearby places like Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto , Whitby, Burlington etc can be waived off for a new client, but not to be taken as precedence.
- The client always has a choice to name his nominated carriers or courier to pickup the freight from our Whs. dock at no extra cost, however the minimum freight cost will apply when special ordered goods come from overseas. We shall let the client know the pickup date, alternatively the client can pickup themselves.
- We have accounts with most of the major courier & transport companies who ship across Canada. These include FedEx- UPS- Canada Post. As a procedure we take 2-3 quotes before finalizing the most dependable & economical logistic company to get you the best possible freight charges.
- Shipping a Pallet is always advisable as it can take more goods and the shipping cost is also less. For nearby areas based on 1 skid freight cost $55.00 +$45 if Trucker uses tailgate (when no truck level is available)
- Fuel cost is applicable for all shipping and is based on the Gas prices on day to day basis. It is an industry norm these days.
- Custom made Samples for customers are chargeable @25% extra cost & to be refunded in the event of the order getting materialized with advance payments in our favor. Making samples is very very expensive & time consuming. If the client agrees to take similar sample from our already made up sample stock, then no extra charge is applicable. We do not mind giving the swatches of the fabric under consideration.
- Prices are subject to change with 15 days notice, but we are not bound to give any notice individually. All offers are Ex our Warehouse, freight & taxes are extra. Any custom offer given to the client is valid for 15 days from the date of the offer subject to extension thereafter in writing from us. Similarly all the Promotional Flyers carry a date when they were in effect & is superseded by the current promo flyer.
- In any case CanAm Global Links Inc. reserves the right not to accept a particular order. There could be some updates at times which will be notified (if required) to you to keep you updated.
- For custom made items like Bed Skirts- Duvet Covers- Top Decorative Sheets –Bed Scarfs- Sheers – Drapes-Table Linen; we have access to various types of Fabric (all prints-check= classical-traditional-dots-floral-geometric-leaf-modern-solid-stripe etc) The client is expected to to give written approval with advance to go ahead and start the manufacturing process. Custom orders once placed can’t be cancelled, changed or returned, otherwise full advance will be forfeited.
- New Account Opening Credit Application is required to open an account with CanAm Global Links Inc. The new account, when opened still requires the ..FIRST PAYMENT to be made with the order by C Card/ Net Transfer at the time of placement of the order. Any special/made-up order requires the 33% advance to be produced at the time of placement of such order.
